Black Beans

These beans are a great side dish for any Mexican entree such as Enchiladas, Quesadilla, or basic tacos. Note, they don’t actually need rice.
Ingredients
1 (15 oz) can black beans
1 (4 oz) can diced jalapenos
1 half yellow onion
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt (if beans are salt free)
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin
3 Tbsp cilantro (coarse chop)
Directions
Chop onion.
Combine all ingredients except cilantro in small sauce pan. Do not drain the beans.
Raise to simmer and let simmer for 25 minutes.
Garnish with cilantro before serving.
